I was recently commissioned to do a teenage boys senior pictures for some of my relatives. Not only do I have a hard time coming up with poses for teen boys but the teenage boy did not really care to have his picture taken! So this photo session was a real challenge for me. Not only did I have to do my research on poses but I had to try and stay calm and positive while my subject continued to not want to have anything to do with the process.
Toward the end my teenage friend started warming up to the camera and I think we got some great shots!
My amature photo tip: Invest in a photo editing program! There are a couple of free ones available on line but I would suggest Photoshop! Its mainstream so you can find tons of tutorials and free downloads to add to it. Having a photo editing program not only allows you to fix a problems in your photos but gives you the freedom to jazz up you photos with photo overlays, adding fun captions and word art and so much more.
