Garden Happy Salsa recipe!

October 15, 2011
For those salsa makers out there I’m sure you will always think that you have the best salsa recipe ant that’s okay. This recipe is just for me! Its the best salsa “I’ve” ever had and I want to document it here so that I can make it as much as I want and you are welcome to make it like I do as well. Plus I’ve never seen my kids eat so much salsa unless I make it just like this. So to me this is the perfect fresh salsa recipe ever!
I actually came up with this recipe earlier this summer when my husband and I made over five different fresh salsa recipes and finally I just had to make my own. I’ve tweaked and experimented with it a bit until I came up with this perfect recipe… for me… and I guess my kids too.
Need:
12 roma tomatoes
1 yellow onion
3 cloves of garlic
1 lime
1/4 C. Cilantro
1 jalapeno
1 green pepper
1 Tbs Sugar
1 can of diced green chilies
1/2  tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cummin
1/2 chili powder
Basically dice the vegetables all up real small, add rest of ingredients, and squeeze lime over the top. Let sit for 15-20 minutes to let the flavors combine.
