Im a big lover of Faux fireplaces in the home for the holidays! Growing up we always made one out of construction paper and we believed santa turned it into a real one on Christmas Eve when he came. This one you would only have to make it once and then roll it up for next year. Plus its super cute!

There are a lot of ways to make fun chalkboard labels and tags. Amber from Damask love does it with black card stock and some fancy hand lettering.
Tip: If you like a lot of detail with your chalkboard art and are having trouble with the chalk try using chalkboard markers. They come in many different colors and can even be brighter and have a higher readability than chalk.
We have a problem with people coming to our side door when they come to visit and so its nice to have a cute little sign that is easy for them to quickly read.
We used Liquid Chalkers. And the neat thing is you can do more than just decorate chalkboards you can also use these special markers to draw on mirrors, windows and other fun glass surfaces.
I just let my boys go to town on this old cupboard door we revamped into a chalkboard. The colors are so much more richer with these markers than regular chalk. Very fun!
