Children’s Cardboard Detractive Signs – Low-2-No $ Craft Ideas

January 6, 2011
I don’t know about you, but decorating my kids room just doesn’t make the cut when it come to a place in our budget so we have to get creative and when I say creative I mean… Craftastic!
Here are some fun wall signs I made for my boy’s themed rooms. With some cardboard, a little rope and some craft paint you can do wonders. And my kids and their friends love them.

Cardboard signs are also a great way to decorate for a themed party if you’re on a budget but still want to jazz up the occasion.
To hang these traffic signs up in my son’s “Auto” themed room I just used a staple gun. It works great leave hardly noticeable staple marks in the wall when removed.

I made all these signs a few years ago and they are still holding up great. I took these photos just a few weeks ago.
I hope this inspired you to save some of your cardboard boxes and get creative, because there are so many fun ways to personalize a child’s room and make it special without breaking the piggy bank open.
