Female Graduation Senior Portrait Photoshoot

April 19, 2019

I love having a photography skill. It has been so useful as an artist and blogger and has served me in so many ways. I originally started learning photography skills and using the camera to take photos for my blog over a decade ago. I have learned so much and love that photography is always changing and evolving especially when it come to technology.

I don’t usually do photography for hire or anything like that I mostly just use photography for my blog and craft tutorials but every once in a while I get the opportunity to do a portrait photoshoot for some of my family members. This is my sweet little cousin on my husbands side who is Graduation this year! I can’t believe the time has gone by so fast. She was just a baby at my wedding 16 years ago.

I loved getting to add a little graphic design to the background. That wall was originally brown and plain. I love adding artistic fun touches.

I decided I wanted to do a more urban photoshoot and take advantage of some of the beautiful historic buildings in downtown Provo UT. There were so many goodies for a background.

We did throw in a few girly floral pics as well! LOL! Isn’t she just stunning?!!!

We had so much fun with these photos and Jenica was such a good sport posing in all the awkward poses I kept putting her in. I promised that they may feel weird but it looks awesome!

I love using simple props. They make such a big impact and can turn a regular photo into something that really feels extra special and extra thought out.

She is going to do amazing things!

Which one is your favorite?
